About the session
I joined a panel on the technological pillars of tomorrow's railways: interoperability, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence.
I covered access to operational knowledge, support for field agents, and workforce training. Examples included intelligent sensors for predictive maintenance, drones and digital twins for infrastructure inspection, and secure assistants for internal procedures.
The closing framework identified four requirements: infrastructure investment, reliable data, workforce training, and continuous measurement.
